I was lucky enough to travel to Malaysia to cover Harpreet's wedding.
As this was a 4 day wedding i will start with the Mayian ceremony, the day started with guest arriving to the house so heres me thinking guests will just walk in have a cuppa then start the ceremony, boy was i wrong! as the guests arrived they started to dance straight away out side the house for a few minutes only then did they walk in.
While guest were dancing, there was a guy making the Rangoli, as you can guess the groom as a Manchester United fan. I have to say this is without a doubt one of the best Rangoli i have seen since i became a asian wedding photographer.
Its wasnt long after all the guest arrived, that the Mayian ceremony started, this is where all the guests apply a paste made with turmeric over the Groom to be. This part can get messy and it did, however the groom to be got his revenge on his sisters.
Well that was a snap shot of day 1 of my 4 day destination wedding.
